The Landing is a gracious, historic property dating back to 1800. This boutique hotel overlooks the harbour in the heart of Dunmore Town, an easy five minute stroll to the powder fine, pink sand beach where we have our own beach chairs and umbrellas.
The Landing Guest Rooms
The Landing offers thirteen guest rooms, including a honeymoon suite under the eaves that overlooks the garden and the harbour. Our rooms are designed and inspired by India Hicks in a classic plantation style.
Rooms have mahogany stained, four poster beds with crisp white Ralph Lauren linens, and are draped in Indian cotton. The waxed hardwood floors are overlaid with sea-grass matting and decorated with a meticulous attention to detail.
Rooms have private baths and air conditioners and feature wireless internet connection. Some also have ceiling fans and verandahs, most have harbour views. All rooms are non-smoking. Landing guests enjoy the pool as well as beach chairs and umbrellas provided at the beach for their use.

The Attic is tucked under the eaves and occupies the whole third floor of The Captain’s House building. The views are through the picture perfect dormer windows. There are windows on all 4 sides of this room making it very bright. The bedroom is separate from the large bathing room with a central framed bathtub, which was designed by India Hicks as a nod to her father, designer David Hicks. Please note that the bathtub has a hand held shower only so if you are a shower person then this is not the room for you. This room exudes romance and is a favourite with honeymooners.

Buttonwood is best described as handsome. It is located on the second floor of the Library building. The ceiling is tall and there are windows on 3 sides. The room has a very large verandah that overlooks the pool and garden with peekapoo harbour views through the trees. The windows are insulated and this is a quiet room. The bathroom features a bathtub and a separate shower. Entry is from the verandah. Buttonwood can adjoin internally with Sea Sage room.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm all reservations. Please note that Christmas/New Year holiday bookings require a 100% deposit.
You will have up until 8 weeks before your booking to notify us of cancellation (90 days for bookings over Christmas/Spring Break/Easter). Reservations cancelled before the 8 week or 90 day period are refundable, minus an $85 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within the 8 weeks or 90 days prior to your booking will forfeit the deposit.
Our rooms are all NON-SMOKING. Smoking is permitted on the verandahs.

Our rooms are designed for a maximum of 2 people.
Additional information:
Rollaway beds are available for some rooms (please contact us for specifics). One child under 10 years of age is permitted to share a bed with parents. Port-a-cribs are available for children 3 and under. There is a charge of $50 BSD per extra person over the age of 16 sharing room and a charge of $30 BSD per child age 3 to 16 sharing room.
